Which sign size to use for each road speed.
Sign size depends on how fast drivers are travelling. As a guide: 600 mm for low-speed private and estate roads, 900 mm for urban roads up to 60–80 km/h, 1200 mm for higher-speed roads and 1500 mm for freeways and high-speed rural roads.
